i bought a new lattitide 6500 from an outlet type place
it came fully loaded with more than it said in the specs, web cam etc

i had an issue and they replace the mobo, when the guy was replacing the board, i noticed it had a sim card slot with all hardware present

i've placed a sim card in the slot, but i dont seem to be able to figure out how to get this working
not sure i can see it in device manager and not sure about drivers
i flattened the system when i first got it a bit in the dark about this

any ideas what i can do to see if i can get this working?

you need to buy the mini pci WWAN card, and install it in the WWAN slot on your mobo. the antennae, sim card slot and everything else are already present.
