I just recently got the e6500 (somewhere around 3 weeks ago) and I was wondering if anyone ran into these issues..
    1. Cracks on the side (on both sides.. its like a bulge.. pictures to follow but if you ran your fingers down the side of the LCD , at the very bottom there is a crack/bulge)

    2. The power adapter gets hotter than hell. It's gotten significantly hotter than when I first got the lappy.

    Anyone for comment?

We had one person with a bulging display bezel around the ambient light sensor. Have you tried squeezing the areas with the gaps to see if they will clip together?

Is the PSU hot all the time, even when the battery is fully charge and the computer is on idle? Is the computer fan running all the time when the computer is on idle?

The power adapter is only really really hot when charging. Perhaps this just happens when the computer is doing a quick charge (laptop is off). As for the crack.. It's impossible to clip together. They are literally .. cracks. Like a little man on the inside of the computer is trying to break out with a small hammer. If you can imagine that.

As soon as I get my phone cable I will post the pictures.

Did you enable the Express Charge option in the BIOS? I recall that the normal charge rate is around 40W so the power isn't much different to that used when the computer is on.

    Hello,

I would call support, it seems your display bezel is drawn together with too much pressure and then cracks.

    Regards
