    So check it out... I took pictures of a refurb E6500 I got from the outlet (Regal Red) and my new E6500 (black). They appear to have different heatsinks, with the new one having a larger one. There's no real point to this post, I just found it interesting.

    Maybe it is just aspect ratio of the photos, but it looks like they may have also changed the fan or fan shroud.

    they're from different suppliers. look at the markings.
