    This might belong else where.

I have E6500 with vista business on it. here's my issue. I downloaded my vacation photos on to my XPS 400 (a bit old I know) that has XP. I burn the photos to a DVD (which after being put in said it needed to be formated, like it always does). I formated it and burned the photos to the dvd and made it compatible. I then place it in to the E6500 and opened the dvd and then the folder. But nothing show up in the photos folder and the DVD properties said it was 4 + gb free (which should not be ). So I tried it on another laptop that has XP and there where the photos. So my thinking is that it does not like the Sonic DLA format or I do not have anything to view the photos on the E6500?

The photos are in jpeg format.

    thoughts?

The E6500 should be able to see and open the jpeg files. Try burning those jpeg files as a normal data DVD and see if the E6500 can read them.

Sometimes there can be problems with discs burnt on one computer then can't be read by another. Notebook burners are more troublesome in this respect than desktop burners which have more power available. Try a different brand of disc.
