Can anyone please suggest on display experience between HD (1336x768) and HD+ (1600x900) on e6440 Latitude? Is it a noticeable difference or minor one being just a 14" screen. I guess both variants are matte. If I've to do photoshop and gaming is it worth to pay more for HD+ on this specific laptop?

If you work a lot with docs then stick with HD. But if you do a lot of photoshop and gaming I suppose its worth to opt for HD+. HD+ is not very kind on ageing eyes though, pretty or not.

I disagree. Ideally you'll want to go with the higher resolution displays so you can gain screen real estate over low-res displays. Example:

Is this updatable easily without loosing the warranty otherwise ?
( and to re sell the old screen ? )

Easy? Oh no, not at all. It's possible, depending on what cables your laptop uses internally to connect the display to the rest of the computer, but even if you have the correct one, the disassembly and reassembly is pretty involved. It's just a lot easier to buy the laptop with a better display upfront than buy it with a subpar display and then try to upgrade it later.
