I have an E6430. Ideally, I would like it to be used by 2 different people. Would it be possible to create a semi-hot swappable system by buying 2 media bay hard drive caddies, and putting both HDDs in a caddy?

When user 1 is using the system, they would load their HDD into the caddy, use it, and hibernate when done.

User 2 would put in theirs, use it, and then hibernate...

Are there any issues with this approach? Can you boot from the media bay?

I am hoping this can be done...any issues I would need to be aware of? Cross-talk, hard drive encryption, etc? I would be using HDD encryption on one of those drives.

Do you really want to avoid purchasing a second laptop that much? It will undoubtably result in excessive wear on the module bay connector.

Can you dual-boot from the main HDD?
