I am trying to figure out what E-Port dock if any will work with my E6420 XFR. The Dell site is not clear and the customer service reps have not been all that helpful. Does anyone on here have any experience with this model and a E-Port? If so what part number do I need for this laptop, it does have a docking port at the bottom but it seems more recessed then previous Latitude E-Port models that I have used.

    Thanks

    Scott

Any E-Port will work with it, Dell hasn't changed the docking port on the Latitudes since the D class notebooks. I have one E-Port that came with my E6400 and one that came with my E6420 and they work interchangeably as well as with my E6410. Find one on ebay if you want to save around $150 as opposed to from Dell.

Thanks for your reply. I did find out from Dell that the standard E-Ports will work, but I do need a K705N adapter in addition to adapt for the larger size of the rugged chassis.
