Hi, i am an owner of a used E6410 i5 560m laptop with a pc card slot.

Before i purchase this laptop i was thinking that this model had as standard an expresscard slot from dell.

After my purchase I found with saddle that the model where i bought does not include an express card socket but pc card!!!

Can i remove this card from the mainboard socket and put an expresscard instead?
    Is this possible?
    Part number of expresscard?

    Thank you

Physically replace pc card with express? I am 99.9% sure that can't be done since only one hardware is available. Best bet for you to is find an "adapter" if they make it to convert.

There is a factory option of PC card or EC, and it is printed on the plastic eject button. If you want to change it, the motherboard and card cage have to be replaced, so you are better off purchasing an adapter instead...
