Any ideas as to why my wireless light is constantly blinking? I have a E6400 with a 5300 AGN and I'm running on Ubuntu 9.10. I also run on Windows 7 but I cannot remember if it always blinks when I run that.

There is no wireless light on the Latitude E series. Are you sure it's not your HDD light?

AH THAT! I thought you meant Wifi activity light (which doesn't exists).
This is not normal, something is broken either wireless card or switch or motherboard... contact Dell.

Could you go to Windows 7 and see if it blinks there? That would be pretty helpful...

Nothing is broken. It just blinks under Linux whenever there's wireless activity. In Windows the light is solid. At least this has been my experience.

Well I'm in Windows 7 now and the light it blinking. I noticed that it blinks differently on different networks. Like if I'm at school or at home. At schools it will go solid for a bit and then blink.

Yea, it's not a driver issue or OS.. its really either the card or motherboard that is broken or the switch.
