My friend would like to purchase business NB 14.1". His options are narrwoed down to Dell E6400 or Lenovo T400. I have E6400 so I can tell him its pros and cons. But for T400, I never have any experience with Lenovo. Can somebody give feedbacks?

    His requirements:
    1. Light and thin
    2. Keyboard must be soft
    3. Screen is sharp
    4. Stylish
On all 4 above, I can let him see and judge my E6400. For Lenovo, can somebody please send some feedbacks?

I haven't used a ThinkPad since my old T30, but both my parents have D-series from their respective employers and the keyboards are pretty soft, moreso than the T30 if my memory serves me right (I remember liking the keyboard and I like stiffer ones). As far as weight and style go, check the weight on the configuration pages and look at some pictures. Personally I prefer the E's over the ThinkPads, but it's a matter of taste. I'd say both are equally good.

In terms of screens, I expect you'd get similar quality on either, as both Latitudes and ThinkPads are high-quality machines. Search the reviews here and on Google, C|net, etc. to make sure, though.

    Good luck!
