e6400 physical problem\lost

    hi all
    tried/searched card reader slot (i want to enter SD card) and pushed/pulled some slots. after removing and re-entring the DD drive, i pushed at the right some small square called pc or something, and now it doesnt entered back, by pushing it it pulls out something unknown looking like border of two squares

    how do i re-inserting it and if/how i can read from SD card?

    Yeah I noticed it is hard to put back in the first few times. push the card out and remove it. push the lever back in so that it is flush with the system. now put the card back in. if it doesn't want to go in, try jiggling it a little.

    that's how I do it but it seems counter intuitive. give it a try

    It doesn't really matter what it is. There are some models equipped with a PC card, some equpped with an Expresscard.

    It does go back. You'll just have to press firmly (in the process, the blank filler card will come out). You can pull out the blank card. Then, pre ss the small black square thing fully in until it clicks. Then, just slide in the big black rectangular filler in.
