Some of you might now as I posted in my other thread that I'm not sure the screen I received with my refurb'd E6400 is the WXGA+ LED backlit like it promised in the invoice. The primary reason is is that there is a sticker on the bottom of my laptop that says "Made in Malaysia" and also "Hg" with a circle around it. This is mercury; contained in CCFL backlit screens.

So to any other owners out there, do you have the sticker on the bottom of your laptop and does it have the Hg-circled symbol? Do you have a LED backlit screen and does it still have it?

    Thanks.

I have the sticker. It says "Made in China", but it does have the Hg with a circle around it. I bet it's just a generic sticker that they use on all E6400s...

And you have the WXGA+ LED backlite right? Sorry, it doesn't specify in your sig.

    Thanks.

I just checked under my laptop, and yes, it is a generic sticker that says Hg with a circle around it. I guess all E6400s have it.

    I don't think Dell even sells 1440x900 non-LED screens...

I've got an E6400 with an LED screen, bought it brand new before Dell even offered the CCFL WXGA+ screens on this laptop.

The Hg sticker is definitely on my laptop as well, and the screen has the hardware ID of "CMO1436."
