E6400 optical drive options

    On the E6400 build page it shows two different optical drives options
    with no additional description
    24X CDRW/DVD
    8X DVD+/-RW

    My assumption is that both burn DVDs with the 8X capable of burning DVD-RW
    After 20 minutes on hold on the phone I gave up trying to get an answer from Dell.

    The 1st option, the 24x CDRW/DVD - reads and burns CDs. It reads, but DOES NOT burn DVDs.
    The 8X DVD+/-RW burns and reads both CDs and DVDs.
