A couple of minutes after I start up my laptop in the morning I get this alert:

"Host Process for Windows Services stopped working and was closed".

This is followed by my audio going out; an alert pops up in the tray that Audio Has Stopped Working. I can turn it back on but this keeps happening I have all the latest drivers).

    Ideas?

Tried re-installing the audio driver? Rolling back to an older driver revision? Possible that the latest driver just doesn't play well with whatever else is on your system.

I that doesn't work, I've had experiences with Vista services stopping randomly being related to defective RAM. Just a thought.
