    I have a Dell Latitude E6400 with P8400/x4500MHD/4GB/320GB.

To enable DXVA playback with MPC-HC, I am trying to follow this guide which states that I need at least 256MB of video RAM to make this work.

Unfortunately, using GPU-Z, I see that I have only 32MB of video memory.

    Questions:
    1. How do I increase video memory?
    2. Has anyone reliably configured their E6400 for DXVA playback in some other way?

the GPU-Z is looking at the intel integrated graphic, If you had not touch anything on the newest MPC-HC, DXVA should be enabled by default.

Unless you are getting frame drop/lag what so ever, you do not need to worry about it. DXVA or CUVID do not improve the quality of the video.
