I want to play Bioshock and Fallout 3. My laptop is E6400, 2GB RAM, 256MB nvidia. Looking at game's website, they require 512MB videocard (recommended). do you think my E6400 will be able to handle the game well? Anyone here play some high-end game with E6400 and the laptop is performing well?

Heh, don't expect anything that great with Fallout 3. The E6400 is not made for gaming, and it can barely play GTA4 on all low settings at low resolution. Overclocking the GPU can help, but I doubt it can play FO3 all that well. Maybe at a really low resolutions like 800x600 at low settings. I don't know about Bioshock, but it maybe could play it a bit better,

The NVS 160M in the E6400 is an entry-level GPU based on the 9300M GS GPU. It will be extremely difficult to run graphics demanding games such as the ones you listed, even if you have everything set on the lowest settings and resolution.

You can overclock quiet a bit the GPU. I am able to play GTA IV with slightly above minimum settings, perfectly smoothly. More information on how to do it, benchmarks, WEI, and game screen shots of settings of smooth game play. You'll be surprised! I know that a further over clock could be done with some firmware upgrade... but I don't touch that stuff.

If I get my hand on Bioshock, I'll test and tell you. I will be at the look out for a friend that has the game. Give me a week or two.
