E6400 - Flash movies play quiet

Does anyone else have a problem with flash videos (Hulu, Youtube) playing the audio at really low levels even when turned all the way up? Even the windows equalizer only shows the sound being played at quarter volume when the volume is maxed out. I know the speakers on the E6400 arn't great but if I play mp3s or videos in WMP it is much much louder. I have tried reinstalling flash it didn't seem to help. Anyone have any clues?

 

I have the same problem with my new e6400. Did you find a fix?

 

how many volume bar do you have?
WMA has its own volume
system has its own volume
i think per applications has its own volumes

you need to install the latest audio driver at dell's website

 

same here with my studio 1737.
volume level is extreme low when play youtube videos or watch tv via tv tuner. i resort to apple earbuds and have them plugin ALL THE TIME.

 

update to the newest IDT audio drivers or use the default Vista ones. Both should work much better than the default driver.

 

Make sure all the channel volume controls (except the master) are at maximum in the mixer.
