    So I've just got a e6400 for e-port plus.

Is it possible to have two external monitors AND the laptop display all running at the same time? If so how?

Even better would be this: I have two external monitors - both vga with no DVI (oh well). Can I get this working?

    Thanks
    Karl

You can connect the two external monitors through the two VGA ports of the advanced dock. However, you cannot run three screens, so you cannot have the two external screens plus the laptop's own screen.

Are you sure you have the e-port plus (a.k.a. Advanced Docking Station)? I have a "simple" e-port and my father has an advanced e-port. Mine has only one VGA output and his has two.

EDIT -- Upon confirming with him, you're right, it only has one VGA out (it has two DVI out, I was confused). You can get a DVI to VGA adaptor easily though, and it should be cheap. Search Google for it.
