hey guys i got my e6400 with 1280x800 resolution screen. I notice that this screen have greyness comparing to other laptops and right colour are really important to me.

Is it possible to replace my screen to high resolution one(1440x800)?

Can i replace processor as well if i decide to do so in the future?

If your laptop is under the 20 return days, I suggest to return your laptop and do a new order with the proper CPU and display. Laptop display purchasing separately is very expensive, cause Dell (and any other OEMs) like to make to make money.

It has been found that the best display is the LG brand 1440x900 for the Dell Latitude E6400. You have to be lucky I guess, or you can look into doing a special order with the sales rep or tech support.

The CPU is not soldered on, to you can change it with a compatible one. The compatibles ones are what Dell shows on the website where you customize your laptop. Chances that an unlisted CPU work, is minimal.
