My battery will suddenly drop from around 38% to 7% with a warning saying low battery. The battery icon said there were 3hrs left at 40% (power saver mode, LCD brightness at lowest, some dell power saver features on). At 7% it says around 26 minutes and this happens instantly!

My laptop is only 4-5 months old, it has the 3 year NBD warranty but I didnt purchase the battery warranty, is there anything I can do? contact dell? I will be dealing with Dell Canada if that makes any difference.

    Thanks
