Not a problem in the world for any configuration of the E6400 to support full HD TV playback, either on its built-in screen, or on an external screen.

I've done full HD playback on my D630 (Intel X3100 video) and it wasn't a problem. So certainly the newer Intel video chipset and faster processor shouldn't have an issue of it.
