ok.. so my gf drove me from e6400 to e4300 (yeh.. she is geekier than me.. can't deny that)

what I am thinking is that the 13.3 inch can support max 1280*800 resolution? i can't make any adjustment? I will surely miss the wxga+ screen i think.

also what is the latitude on thing? i am shocked there is so few user feedbacks about it..

Seeing as the tech specs only list a "13.3" Premium WXGA (1280 x 800) LED Display", I'd say you are correct; the E4300 does not support any displays with higher resolutions. It's possible that you could find a 13.3" screen with a higher resolution and swap the display, but I'd say it's unlikely that you'll find something compatible.

Latitude On is supposed to be like an instant-on OS with some basic browsing and chat capabilities (like the thing they had on some Asus motherboards a while back), but development seems to have stopped without ever getting a product out...

Latitude on Ready is a piece of crap. Pretend it's not even there. Dell should be ashamed of themselves for hyping up this feature and never offering it on the laptops like they promised they would. The button is there but it doesn't do much for you. I think if you use outlook you can configure it to access that for you. But that's about it.
