    I just ordered a refur e4200 from dell with 1gb ram

    any recommendations for a 2gb ram stick and how to upgrade ram on e4200, thanks

    BTW, ram is ddr3, 1066 or 1067 something

    You can pretty much use any notebook DDR3 memory out there. I don't think they make anything other than PC8500 yet. Just get the cheapest thing with a lifetime warranty. DDR3 1066 and 1067 are the same thing; it simply depends on how you round that last 6. The actual figure should be 1066.666 repeating.
