This has to look so **** ugly at an E6500:

    E6500:
    Width: 14.1"/358mm
    Depth: 10.1"/257mm
    Height: 1-1.3"/27/33mm

    Battery Slice:
    Width: 12.7 in
    Depth: 8.5 in
    Height: 0.6 in

Afaik the one you order for E4200 and E4300 is only 56WHr and won't stick out. I guess the one you linked to can be mounted on E4200/E4300 if you don't mind it sticking out.

The 56 WHr doesn't have as much capacity, right? How much less does it weigh?

84 Whr is even less than the 9-cell which is 85 Whr.

Given the huge dimensions of the slice, couldn't they have stuffed in like 3 9 cells batteries in there?

On my 4300 order, the slice battery has following data:
48 W/HR (what kind of unit is that, I think it should be 48 Whr)
Height: 8.9 mm to 10.5 mm (0.35-0.41 inch)
    Width: 298.9 mm (11.8 inch)
    Depth: 200.33 mm (7.9 inch)
    Weight: 630 g (1.38 lb) maximum

They said the slice battery is still incoming. They told me that the 48 WHR isn't the slice. It's just another battery.

Our 6 cell is 60 WHR, so the slice should be similar (it's also 6 cells).

Row from my order confirmation (swedish order):
Battery: Additional Slice battery 48W/HR LI-ION (kit) .... price

The price was also quite expensive, more than the ordinary batteries.
Rest of the data is from a picture of the slice battery the "business sales advisor" sent me.

I was actually disappointed. I was hoping it was possible to replace the dvd with extra batteries instead of a slice under the computer.

Oh yeah, it was 48WHr, not 56WHr as I originally wrote.
