    ok i was wondering if my dvd burner may be going bad?
    heres the problem when the dvd rom spins up to load it makes alot of noise.
    the noise is really loud. you guys think its going bad?:(

    Laptop drives can be noisy. I'd make sure your discs aren't scratched. If you think it's that bad call Dell and get a replacement.
