    Hello everyone,

Been away a long time, mainly because my latitude has been working beautifully!

I am considering buying a bluetooth wireless speaker system.

Am I right in saying the BT 360 module on my latitude is A2DP compatible?

Generally does this chip work well or has there been reports of chopiness/bad quality.

Many thanks in advance for any feedback you may be able to provide...

    Nick

I have a Dell Latitude D430 with the 360 module, and I can say that A2DP is one of the key disappointments in bluetooth performance.

I have tried pairing with a JayBird 100, Nokia Stereo headphones, and a Moto HT820 pair, all of which worked, but were extremely choppy at all quality settings using Dell's toshiba driver, and trying all the tweaks.

I would borrow someone's A2DP device to see if you're cool with the quality before you jump in - I can tell you that the same devices I have trouble with on my D430 and D420 work great with my BlackBerry. I think it has something to do with the range on the notebook modules - Even 2-3 feet away theres a significant amount of signal loss.

    Good Luck!
