Did I overheat my Dell E6320? The fan stopped working.

I just brought this laptop used from a Craigslist ad for 200 bucks. The fan had stopped working today and it had gotten to 100C! This has the i5 2520m integrated into the motherboard.

might need to blow some canned air in the fan slot that'd be the easiest and cheapest solution thought you might have just gotten unlucky.

High temperature is the effect of the dead fan, not the cause.

I would consider replacing the fan - it's going to be 3 or 4 years old and past its best. Dell parts and instructions for replacement are relatively easy to find.
