So I have a Dell XT service tag HLR2RJK1 and have a strange issue,when I close the lid and it is running it shuts down.

When I close the lid not running it boots up,now it shuts down properly not like it is losing power. So is there some setting I don't know about?

It is running Windows 7 pro and everything else is working the way it should,it is a sale unit going on eBay and I'm not that familiar with them,thanks for any help.
