I need to remove it to see if there is any problems with it. The guy from dell I talked to said it was easy and would not break my warranty, so I am wondering if anyone here has a guide to removing it.

Oh yeah, and I have no idea what to look for if there is something wrong with the card. Any help?

Which card? I hope you mean the wireless one, because the wired one is built right into the motherboard.

Help me understand this a little better...what problem are you having?

I'm having problems staying on my home wireless network. The other laptop in our house doesn't seem to experience the same problem.

Sometimes I'm able to surf the net, sometimes I'm not, even though the little network globe is showing in my taskbar.

I have an intel 3xxxx something wireless network card.

The tech said to check the card out. He said you just need to unscrew something in the bottom of your notebook. And since I know only the basics of the guts of my computer it would be nice if there was a guide to getting to the card.

Oh yeah. What significance does it have that the green light where my wifi catcher is located isn't lighting up?

Not a big one. That light only tells you if there are networks around that do not have password protection on them...it is pretty useless.
