    Hi,
    I'm Having a problem with my Dell Vostro 1500, i.e. In my Laptop the SD/MMC slot is not working , please suggest me whether I need to install any kind of drivers for the activation. If yes What kind of drivers I need to install.

    Does Device Manager have any yellow exclamation marks? Can you see any SD or similar controller in Device Manager?

    It looks like you might need the Ricoh chipset driver.

    You do have an entry for SD Host Adapter in your Device Manager which drives the SD reader. You might delete that driver and reboot. Or try installing the driver link that I posted above.

    Hi, I have similar problem, my card reader on XPS 1530 doesn't work properly...
    I have already install Ricoh R5C833 v503 driver, which I found on dell site. But after that I can use only SD card, other card it can't read (mmc,...)
    I also tried reinstall driver, but result is same.
