    does anyone knows what backlight inverter is compatible with dell vostro 1500?
    is dell vostro 1000 series backlight compatible with vostro 1500?

    The only guarantee is the Inspiron 1520. There are probably some, if not many others, but it usually seems to be a crapshot with these kind of things. If you're in need of an inverter, there is at least one 1520 inverter on eBay right now (albeit for a somewhat exorbitant price).
