    hello,
i have a tuff desicsion to take...
after i searched for a while I've came to two options to choose from:
the dell vostro 14 and the dell xps 13.
the differences between the prices in my country are approxemantely 750$ if we're comparing the same hardware.

my question is very simple... for my needs as a student (90% office use) is the 750$ worth it?

    thanks alot!

Can you provide links to the specific products you are comparing?

The Vostro notebooks are the bottom end of Dell's business range. The Latitudes would provide a better comparison to the XPS.

The XPS13 is thinnner and lighter and has a very good display. The Vostro, on the other hand, appears to offer only a 1366 x 768 resolution display which doesn't claim to have good viewing angles and may not be particularly good. It also uses the previous Intel platform, but that's not a big drawback. It may be worthwhile asking your local Dell whether there is a 1920 x 1080 display option for the Vostro. Also whether they offer any Latitude notebooks.
