Hello, I know you are going to say overclocking a laptop is pointless, but there I have my reasons in this case. I have the dell vostro 1310, with a t8100 cpu, c2d @ 2.1 ghz, they have a c2d at 2.5 ghz and I would like to overclock my cpu to 2.5 ghz. I have setfsb, I just don't know which on e is right for me if any. Can anyone help?

yup i agree it is definately possible but we need someone who can identify and program the pll for us and the chances of that are slim indeed

maybe we should rally te setfsb website and maybe some affluent gentleman could lend them a laptop to use for developing such software ......any takers ? :p

Not so sure about your T8100, it probably runs on the same motherboard as my T5670, which uses an SLG8SP510T chip. Not sure though. Anyone got a clockgen PLL frequency for that yet?
