Has anyone tried to get Win XP x64 up and running on the Dell Vostro 1000? I'm considering trying it, but I hear the driver support for XP x64 is pretty poor in general and the drivers for the Vostro aren't the most reliable either. Sounds like a perfect storm of headaches so I wanted to check here before trying it myself.

I dont see the point of having a 64 bit OS. Most of the programs are coded in 32 bits, so at this time I dont see any important reason why to install it, in the future it will be a good advantage.
