Whenevr I remove my e5600 from its dock to use the laptop on the go, the touchpad always goes back to its default settings.
I cant figure out why, but im thinking maybe my wireless Logitech mouse/keyboard that I use while docked has something to do with it?

The issue is caused by Setpoint v4.70.
The touch pad's settings themselves are unchanged - but Setpoint reverts itself to the Setpoint settings and not the OS settings for the touchpad.

To test - left click on the Logitech icon in the system tray, My Mouse tab, Chess tab(game settings) and select OS implementation. Everything should work as expected now.

Unfortunately Setpoint reverts back to SetPoint implementation on next reboot. Only option at the moment is downgrading to v4.60.

So downgrading to version 4.6 will make it so it remembers the setting when im out of the dock?
Other than that (which is quite important) anything else I need to know about downgrading the version?

4.60 will remember the settings whether your docked or not.
4.70 doesn't and resets it on reboot each time.

    1. Uninstall Setpoint 4.70
    2. Delete the UpdateList.csv file found in
    Vista - C:\ProgramData\LogiShrd\Updater\
    XP: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\LogiShrd\Updater
    3. Restart system

Download set point 4.60 for your OS, install it. Then set your mouse speed, sensitivity etc via control panel - Mouse settings. In SetPoint - set it to 'use OS implementation'.

Step 2 is important - otherwise on reboot after uninstalling 4.70 it'll spawn multiple threads of the update software checker and consume 100% cpu until the system basically locks up.
