    Does anyone know what the deal is related to Dell shipping Latitude 7240 and 7440's with Windows 8.1 in the US? They said November, then December, now someone says February... I don't get the impression that the people I'm talking to actually know.

    Is there some problem with 8.1 on these machines that makes it difficult?

    I'm not upgrading myself because I actually need quite a few (like 20) and I'm not going to do it myself... particularly if there's some issue keeping Dell from doing it.

    Has anyone heard anything?

    I got mine with Win 8 installed and upgraded to 8.1 right away with no problem. Haven't noticed any issues since then.
