My overall impressions were ok with the unit. It was equipped with 2gb ram, 2.0ghz, wireless g, bluetooth, xga glossy, and 9 cell battery. Honestly, i expected it to look better in real life than it did. In my opinion the looks were professional while at the same time almost too bland. It looks like our next 1000 laptop purchase will be of this configuration. It seems rather heavy compared to the d500 series laptops that we have been using even when they are equipped with two batteries in it. The build quality did seem good however.

What are your experiences with the laptop and its durability thus far. These laptops are going to be used all day long by multiple users moving around constantly. Any problems i should be aware of?

    Thanks

That bad looking? That's a shame, I was hoping that it wouldn't be like that-Dells pictures didn't really inspire confidence. I guess I'll have to get a E6000 series then in the future. The reason why I went Latitude was to avoid "too bland" business notebooks namely from HP and Lenovo. I like my sparkly dark grey and silver plastic :p
