I have the Dell Precision M6500 version of the nVIDIA Quadro 5000M, with the specific heatsink, having bought the rig mistakenly thinking it would work in my HP EliteBook 8740w. With nVIDIA Inspector, it should perform really sweetly in the M6500.

I posted to the NBR Marketplace to sell the rig, but I had not noticed the new posting requirements there, so the post automatially bounced, and I did not get around to reposting according to all the required specs. I more recently noticed that NBR allows a shortcut option, namely to advertize an item (maximum one item) for sale in one's sig, so, Kaeser, please notice my sig below.

Hi, any chance you could send me your Nvidia Quadro 5000M GPU Bios?

I have an m6500 with a 3800m installed. rahasyavadi, do you still have the 5000m and heatsink assembly for sale? My concern is that the heatsink of the 3800m may not be compatible. Thank you so much and I do understand that this thread is so old so I hope it gets some attention.

And that's what I did 1.5 years ago. My M6500 (920XM,3800M) did have 9 service calls (with hw replacement) in about 2 years.
When problems started again I told them that there won't be a 10th replacement. After 2 weeks of diskussion they approved the system replacement (M6500->M6700) and after 1 day of negotiation I got offered a nice setup which I upgraded to an even nicer one (see below) ;)

    Cheers,
    Alex

@rahasyavadi - I know you haven't posted here in a while so I hope you get this. Is the 5000m card still available? I'm still one post short to PM.
