Just placed the order for a new M4800 (I had been planning to place an order for a Latitude e6540 but was worried about the throttling issues mentioned in another thread and hope this will be a reliable substitute). Quick question about the wireless card...it comes with the Dell wireless 802.11 ac card. My home router is a D-Link DIR-655, which is an 802.11n router. Is this suitable or will I need to upgrade the router? Will internet speed be slowed down?

if your internet is faster than 300mbps than you might want to get ac-1900 router.

The Dell arrived yesterday, and the wireless did indeed work fine. Just after-order jitters. I'll change out routers one of these days, just glad not to have to do it right now this minute. I'm intrigued by your signature, but it's probably best I don't ask!
