I think it's a slightly lower end card than the WX 4150. It has 256 fewer shaders. So it might be slower but I don't know by how much. And the other issue is finding a compatible VBIOS for it, and the reliability of the card itself.

    Polaris 12? Interesting.

Mine's the blue HP WX 4150 flashed with a modified Dell VBIOS. I got it from eBay as well but had to wait a while since it was from the USA. The one here should have the Dell VBIOS, so it should work out of the box since it'll have the VBIOS already flashed.

I ended up buying a WX 4130 card.
    It's much cheaper.

My 4940MX CPU states that it can use max 1.25GB memory. If you have 4GB from WX 4150, can you fully use that 4GB of memory?

I don't personally trust Technical City for info like this. I still think the WX4150 is superior in performance to the W5170M. The benefit of the WX is still ongoing driver support, when the other is end of life.

Do you mean the X-bracket? The advice I was given here was buying a dead MXM card and removing the bracket from that but you can also remove it from the old GPU and mount it with the adhesive left over. My HP one didn't come with one.
