Amidst all the new Vostro's being released along with the Inspirons, Dell seems to have quietly introduced a new Precision - one surprising feature is that it does not follow Dell's new design of curves. It is in the same shape / chassis as the M65... or at least it looks like it

    A couple things -
    - it has a 15.4" WUXGA option! (1920x1200)
    - it features a 256 MB Quadro FX360M - a slight upgrade compared to the 350 in the M65. As to how significant this change is I don't know personally.
    - Obvious upgrade to Santa Rosa platform

If this is a repeat post I apologize - i quickly skimmed the Dell forum and didn't see such a post

These are workstations with 15.4" screens !
    Shame on Dell.

Anyone know when these will be available with 17", 19", or 20" screens ?

15.4" Screens with WUXGA resolutions! I think that is good enough ;)...

EDIT: If you want the 20" there is always the XPS M2010... haha

We have a contract with Dell which obligates Dell only ...

M4300 (800 MHz FSB, etc.,) makes it a better option than the M90 for our CPU intensive work, but the 15.4" screen is a drawback for modelling/graphics work.

Unfortunately Dell is a 'black-box' (pun intended) when it comes to finding out what products will be available. We already waited 2 months for the Santa Rosa platform, only to find it bundled with a small screen.

Anybody knowing in which should it differ from the latitude D830?
I am deciding between the two.
Precision has glossy wsxga+, latitude not.
But latitude can be configured with a Quadro 135M which could be enough for me.
