Yeah got it from a friend, and I didnt even think to ask about the warranty, thinking I would be okay and all. My friend also isnt local, he lives in AZ and I am in NM, and I cant find his dang phone number for the life of me. He was in town visiting his mom, and said he had bought a new laptop and didnt need the one his old one, so i took it off his hands.

I am looking for a new driver now, if anything, I am gonna try uninstalling XP SP2 and going straight for Vista and see if that cures any issues.
