Signed up to mention how I fixed a 5 white and 2 amber blink LED on the front of my two year old Dell 7510.

When you hit the power button, the button lights up for a few seconds but the screen stays black. Then the fans will power cycle high than off. Next a single LED on the front will flash a few times in the sequence of 5 white flash and 2 amber flash. The power button then goes off. Sometimes I can't even try to get that sequence back by hitting the power button back on. I wait an entire day and try again to check if the flash sequence has changed.

All the material I found on-line said is was memory related. So I removed the original factory 4 gig sims (8 gig total when new) and I only used the two aftermarket 16gig. Still no fix. Thought the mix size of memory was causing an issue. No good.

    My solution only:
Since I took it apart to flip the memory in and out and try different slots, I decided to clean the heat sinks with the thermal cleaner and thermal purifier. Next I added artic 5 silver. I used Youtube videos. I put it back together and it Booted!! I quickly downloaded the latest BIOs on another PC and ran the exe file. I did that since I have never updated it, since new. It's on the Aug 2017 version.

It been running for a week.

    my2cents.
