I'm happy to say with Toshiba NVMe SSD in AHCI mode have no BSOD since I reinstalled the Windows 10, but there's another problem when the brightness was set to a low number (seems under 25%, however sometimes happens in 50%), the LCD have a slight flicker...Just seems like smart phones with auto light adjustment. I'm with the newest BIOS which says "2.Fixed LCD flickering when in lowest brightness", is there anyone knows where the problem is? System, BIOS or the driver? Could you please tell me how to solve it?

Plus, I have found a lot see it was caused by Hyper-V but I'm using win10 Home so there's no hyper-v...And will this flickering damage my screen?

So if there anyone could help me? I found it seems begin after installing the Intel HD P530 driver, both from Dell and from Intel have this problem...And after a new Windows 10 installation, without Intel 530 driver installing, seems not flash. My screen is not flickering, but brightness jumps quickly like waves.

What does Toshiba's own SSD utility say? Google suggests this is SSDKit.

SMART is sufficiently different between different hardware manufacturers to cause third party programs to be confused.

Installing the drivers in the correct order could potentially help. I used this guide and have not had the problem you're describing.

    http://downloads.dell.com/manuals/common/reimage_guide_precision_rg_en-us.pdf
Use the installation order at heading 2.4.2

I presume that it's being confused by Dell using RAID, not AHCI, as the default storage mode in the BIOS. If you have a factory installation of Windows then the AHCI drivers may be pre-loaded and you can change the setting in the BIOS without Windows getting confused. Otherwise you have to search the www for guidance on how to install the drivers before changing the BIOS.

Alternatively, other packages you can try are CrystalDiskInfo and HWiNFO to see what they can figure out. There's also Dell's diagnostics which you can run from the BIOS. That should be able to identify a serious problem. My gut feeling is that HDTune doesn't know what SMART parameter C7 is for the SSD and is misinterpreting it (note that C7 and C8 have reasonably close values).

I'll also note that the "Intel Chipset" driver may be of particular importance. It's not really a driver. It's basically a text file that tells windows the properties of the Intel Chipset, so that it can act accordingly. I could see not having that installed correctly resulting in problems with other chipset drivers like the integrated graphics driver.

Will it help in screen brightness jump? Last time I installed all the driver from Dell including this, and still have the problem.
