I've done all updated drivers through the dell website using my specific tag. I haven't had the ability to change the screen brightness since the first time they updated the intel vid drivers. Fn+F10/Fn+F11 do nothing, only way to change brightness is to go to BIOS. Anyone else experience this or have a solution?

Also, I've never seen my processor i7-6820HK, go up to 3.6Ghz as Intel spec sheet says it maxes out at. I've ran CPU stress-tests and it's temperature stays in operational ranges but it will only ever hit 3.3. Again, I'm on the latest drivers/chipset/BIOS available from the Dell website. Do i need to go to OEMs and get different drivers?

Unsure what it's called in English but translated I guess it's; slumber, shut down and restart. (Danish slumre, luk computeren, genstart)

On any other laptop whenI choose "slumre" it start very fast. And not like this hibernate a like. Maybe it's some power settings I've overlooked.

Anyone have any opinions on the Dell Pro Support Plus upgrade?

I generally don't bother, figuring if something goes wrong, it's likely to happen while everything's still covered. In the case of the 5510, given previous experience, I'm nervous.

That's likely the only power option for your machine

Could you point me to the URL you used for the Intel chipset drivers? Thanks

I've mentioned it alot of times before but Pro Support with NBD matched with Accidental (Plus) is definitely where Dell shines. It is a no brainer question for me, I purchase the Pro with Accidental for maximum # yrs because I keep my laptops for a long time. It has saved my bacon alot.

There is now separate options for ProSupport and ProSupport Plus. Accidental damage protection is an additional, unrelated option (just has to match the number of warranty years). Anyone know the difference between ProSupport and ProSupport Plus?
Googling seems to indicate that "Plus" comes with "proactive/personalized recommendations".

    [Edit]
Did some more digging and it looks like "Plus" also covers accidental damage. So you could pay twice for accidental damage protection by accident.
