when i open my Dell Precision M3800 the keyboard is lighted. after it's on while i'm using the computer the lights are gone and it's a bit difficult to work with no lights in the keyboard if the room is dark... :/

Check in the BIOS' you may be able to chance the timeout on the backlight. However, I think there is no longer an option for permanently on. Anyways, just moving the mouse using the touchpad should restore the lights.
