    Hello,

I am buying a M3800 with 512GB mSata SSD drive and 90Wh battery and would like to configure it with as much as solid state storage as possible. I'd like to add a second 2.5" SSD 1TB drive in the 2.5" drive bay which I understand can't be used with the 90WH battery. So my questions....

    - Can I just buy the smaller 61WH battery and install a 2.5" SSD drive? Is any hardware, bracket or cable needed to install the second drive?
    - Alternatively, can I buy a 1TB mSata and swap it with the existing 512GB mSata that is also the boot drive. That would require re-installing all drivers, OS and I don't know if this could easily done.

    Thanks,

Both are options. if you contact Dell they will sell you the 65W battery and the retention bracket for the drive.
I currently run a 1T mSATA and a 1T 2.5" in mine most times, but to pull my data drive and install the larger battery for travelling
