Dell Latitude E7240 Freeze

    Good morning all,

    I have an issue with my dell Latitude E7240 Core i5, 4gb, 128gb SSD, W7 Enterprise 64 bits
    When i close the laptop, it goes on sleep mode but when i open, it freeze.

    Please can somebody help me !!!

    This could be related to the same problem I have on my E7440, which I haven't managed to fix since it started a couple of months ago. Do you know for sure if the computer is freezing or is it just the display isn't coming on? Historically, graphics drivers and sleep have, in my experience, been a cause of headaches. You can look in Event Viewer > System Log for any problems immediately prior to sleep or on wake-up.

    I'm anticipating having to do a reinstallation of Windows. In the mean time, I use hibernation / resume.
