I disabled the Optimus in the Bios yesterday, so now it's running on Nvidia 4200m 100% of the time.

Does anyone else do this? Do you notice any difference with having the Optimus disabled? Any potential problems?

    Thanks.

One reason to disable Optimus in BIOS is to make it easy to install and run Linux with NVIDIA's drivers.

One reason to enable Optimus is that you can connect two external monitors with one internal monitor.
