Dell Latitude E6400

Hello Everybody,

I have just joined this website and i hope i will get my answer for my question. the thing is that i have dell latitude e6400 and from last 3 weeks is not charging completed 100% its charge only 77 % can u anyone plz let me know if they know, how to resolve this issue?????

 

If you swap the batteries does the problem persist?

I hope you have tried the step suggested by Commander Wolf. Also, please enter the BIOS on the laptop by pressing ‘F2’ at the Dell logo during startup. Once you enter the BIOS screen, under the General tab please locate ‘Battery Information’. You will be able to find information on the primary battery and the media bay battery status. It also displays the AC adapter type connected to the system. Please check for the same and let us know in case there are any error messages.
If there is no error message, please check the BIOS version that is currently in the system. Try updating the BIOS to the latest version available. You can use the link mentioned below to download the latest BIOS.
